Moments to Memories Project, In Honor of My Dad

 One of my favorite photos is the one you see here — my dad and me.  After losing him in 2025, I realized something painful: I didn’t have nearly enough photos with him because I was usually the one behind the camera.

In honor of my dad, I created the Moments to Memories Project. Through this project, I offer complimentary photo sessions for adult children and their parents because one day, these images will mean more than you can imagine. Life gets busy. We wait for the “perfect” time, the perfect outfit, the perfect moment. But the truth is — photos do not have to be perfect; they just have to be taken.

Come as you are. Dress up or come in whatever you’re already wearing. Bring your laughter, your stories, your hugs, your wheelchair - the event is accessible. Real life is beautiful, and these moments matter.

The first Moments to Memories event will take place in the summer of 2026, with the hope of growing into an annual — if not semiannual — tradition in our community. My dream is to continue creating a space where families can pause, connect, and preserve the love they share before time slips away.

This project is deeply personal to me, and every session is a reminder that photographs become part of the stories we hold onto when the people we love are no longer beside us.

The goal of this project is simple:
To help families preserve love, connection, and memories while they still can because someday, these photographs may become priceless.
